at the historic Avoca Mill in Avoca, County Wicklow, Ireland, it is a beautifully crafted accessory
that blends heritage, creativity, and modern Irish style.
The Warp collection honors Ireland's rich textile history. It celebrates the historic Avoca
Handweavers wool mill, which has been operating since 1723. The collection uses high-quality merino
wool to create scarves that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern, bright designs. In
weaving, the warp threads are held stationary and taut on a loom. These vertical threads run up and
down to form the strong base of the fabric. The weft threads are then woven across them, moving
side to side. This simple over-and-under interlacing creates all woven textiles.
